Westin Denver Names Katie Werner National Group Sales Manager
Katie Werner has been named as group sales manager for the Westin Denver Downtown. Werner’s territory includes association, group and pharmaceuticals based on the east coast.
Werner came to Denver from The Westin Portland, where she has served as group sales manager. Prior to The Westin Portland, Werner worked at the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront Hotel, where she served as a SMERF/government group sales manager. Werner began her hotel sales career at the Hilton Garden Inn in Portland, where she served as a sales & catering coordinator and then as a sales manager.
Werner is a graduate from Southern Oregon University where she received a Bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in hotel, restaurant and resort management and a minor in economics. Werner is an active member of Meeting Planners International (MPI) and is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys any type of sport whether watching or participating.
