Nicknamed the “Mile High City” Denver, the largest metropolitan area and capital of Colorado, provides urban sophistication and nearby outdoor adventure. Selected as one of the 25 most affordable cities for business travelers with the nearby International Airport providing 1,700 daily flights, Denver is an ideal location for your next meeting.  With a population of just over 600,000 people (2.5 million in the metro area) in 155 square miles, there is an abundance of services and entertainment readily available for visitors.  First settled as a mining town during the Pikes Peak Gold Rush of the mid 1850’s, there is also a wealth of history and a healthy does Old West character throughout the city.  Visit the Colorado Historical Society, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, the Black American West Museum, or even Buffalo Bills final resting place for a dose of the Real American West.  And for one of a kind art and architecture tour the newly renovated Denver Art Museum with the Daniel Libeskind designed Hamilton building and the jewel box-like Museum of Contemporary Art.  Many of these museums and attractions are within an easy walk of each other in the Golden Triangle Museum District adjacent to Downtown.  Denver is also home to several major sports leagues - catch a Nuggets basketball game, watch the pigskin fly with the Bronco’s at Invesco Field, or head to the ballpark to see the Rockies play - all conveniently located in and the Downtown core.  And with miles of trails in and around the metro area, cycling enthusiasts can explore Denver on two wheels.

The forty foot tall Blue Bear “I See What You Mean” designed by artist Lawrence Argent welcomes attendees to the LEED certified Downtown Convention Center.  With over 580,000 square feet of exhibit space on one level, multiple ballrooms, a theatre, and more than 8,400 hotel rooms within walking distance - the Convention Center is an ideal large scale event venue. The neighboring Denver Center for the Performing Arts features ten performance spaces and the Seawell Grand Ballroom. Many of the area hotels also offer ballrooms, boardrooms, and specialty spaces including the historic Brown Palace Hotel, the Oxford Hotel, the Ritz-Carlton, the Grand Hyatt, the Four Seasons, and the fun, contemporary Hotel Monaco.  And the landmark Red Rocks Amphitheater makes for a one of a kind venue for large or small groups.
