Meeting Planner Guidebook for Colorado Provides Helpful Insights

Having travel assistance always available through the pages and websites of Fodor’s, Frommer’s and Lonely Planet is like having a personal guide on your vacation. Destination Colorado’s 2017 Meeting Planner Guidebook is the same concept, but written for anyone charged with the task of planning and booking a meeting, event or incentive trip in the state of Colorado.

Destination Colorado is a statewide association made up of more than 120 businesses and organizations well-versed in working with event and meeting planners to make sure gatherings go off without a hitch.  Members include destination marketing organizations (DMOs), lodging properties, resorts, conference centers, destination management companies (DMCs), activity and service providers, and ground transportation companies. The guidebook is divided into state regions (Front Range, Denver Area, Northwest, South Central and Southwest) and includes a handy map to for those who like to get a visual snapshot.

The regions are followed by information about DMC’s owned and staffed by Colorado experts who can help plan pieces of a gathering or the whole program, and businesses that offer experiential leadership development, corporate team-building, group activities such as food tours and trivia, audiovisual production, event technology, photography, custom travel planning and more.
