When you’re ready to think about Colorado wedding locations, it can help to find a wedding planner who’s already located in one of the major cities in Colorado, like Denver.  This way, they already have access to the resources needed to pull off a small or a very large wedding.  Denver, as it is the largest city, tends to be the best place to start looking as the population density provides you with more options than smaller cities might.

You might also want to look to create a more exciting wedding by incorporating skiing or ranch setting into your wedding vows. Many couples will take their vows while skiing down the slopes or from the lifts or from the back of a horse!  If you find that your partner wants to do something a little more risqué, you can also turn to the hills and mountains of Vail to ensure you always have the best powder conditions for snowboarding down in front of your friends and family.

Golden is another fine location choice in Colorado wedding destinations. Because it is in close proximity to Denver, it gives you the facilities you need for your wedding, but the less crowded atmosphere for the big event. However, there is plenty of nature in this area as well.

But Boulder is another colorful place to plan your wedding. A college town, it can easily make for a funky backdrop to an alternative wedding. The many trails that give you mountain views could be the perfect setup for an outdoor summer wedding and the venues in town cater to wedding receptions every weekend.

There are a number of Colorado wedding destinations which can help you say ‘I do’ in a beautiful and meaningful way. Though Colorado might conjure up images of snow and cold, this is far from the case. Much of the year, conditions are pleasant and sunny – which is just what your wedding photographs need in order to shine.
