Located at the foothills of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, Golden is an Old Western Town with modern convenience. Only 15 miles west of downtown Denver, but nestled into two Table Mountains, the location to the once gold-rush town offers ease of access and charm for your group meeting or event with well appointed meeting facilities. Known for being “Where the West Lives” Golden is home to the University the Colorado School of Mines, the Coors Brewery, and many historic properties and sites. Visit the American Mountaineering Center and the Colorado Railroad Museum for a glimpse into the past, and see the grave of Buffalo Bill Cody on nearby Lookout Mountain. Take in a show with the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra at Bunker Auditorium, or an art exhibit at Foothills Art Center. Bike or hike the North and South Table Mountains, or fly fish Clear Creek. Even paragliding is available in Golden.

The calendar is always full in Golden – with events put on in every season including community festivals and holidays, there is quite a variety – from an Environmental Film Festival, to Buffalo Bill Days, The Fine Arts Festival, to 5k and 10k runs and bike competitions like the Golden Giddyup and finally to Olde Golden Holiday, a traditional celebration.
