COVID Updates

Destination Colorado is working closely with the Colorado Tourism Office, and we are regularly updated by The Colorado Department of Public Health, The Governors Office, Local Public Health Agencies and communities to provide updated information about COVID-19 as it relates to our members and meeting planner followers. We will update the information and resources on this page on a regular basis, and as we have more information on how COVID is impacting meetings and events.

Below are some resources that you may find helpful:

5/25/2020: Governor Polis Issues Guidance for Restaurants, Summer Camps and Private Camping. Read the FAQ document here and the Executive Order here. A Public Health Order will be released tomorrow, Tuesday. The Safer at Home Executive Order has been amended and extended until June 1, 2020 to reflect these changes.

COVID-IN TRAVEL INSIGHTS from Destination Analysts: Here is a link to Destination Analysts – a weekly report of “consumer perceptions, attitudes and behaviors through unbiased, expert-designed research, in order to help the travel, tourism and hospitality industries form strategy and communicate through the COVID-19 crisis.”

COLORADO TRAVEL & COVID-19: We in Colorado are on a steady, thoughtful path to reopening our tourism economy. Guidance for travelers can be found here.

COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH: The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is working closely with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Local Public Health Agencies (LPHA) and communities to provide updated information about COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019). Those updates can be found here.
