TABERNASH, Colo. (January 3, 2018) –Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa climbed onto the podium this year with a top three ranking in USA Today’s 10Best Nordic Centers. Offering 120km of groomed and tracked cross country ski and snowshoe trails, Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa offers a full range of professional instruction, guide and retail services as well as hosting special events and clinics throughout the ski season. These include Skijoring (ski with your dog) and Women’s Classic Ski and Ski, Sip & Spa clinics, monthly Nordic demo days and the annual holiday Tommelfest celebration. The Ranch organizes the Stagecoach Ski Classic, a point-to-point classic cross-country ski race and Nordic Tour, January 20, 2018, from Devil’s Thumb Ranch through the old Idlewild Ski Area to Hideaway Park in downtown Winter Park. Open to racers and the general public on a more recreational level, the Stagecoach Classic is a once-a-year opportunity to experience this historic trek, enjoy a festive post-race party and help raise money for the Mountain Family Center.
